Rheumatoid arthritis is an autoimmune disease. While it most commonly affects the joints, it can also affect the skin, eyes, lungs, and heart. Fortunately, we have many treatments for this condition, which we use to help our patients achieve low or no disease activity. This presentation will cover the common signs and symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis, key diagnostic tests, and a bird's eye view of the treatment landscape.
